The Nitro Drop has grown to be one of the most impressive and popular boards in Nitro's range simply because of how fun of a ride it is. Designed to give some of the most reliable edge control on the market, the Drop loves to charge and carve hard thanks to the reliable (but still forgiving) edge hold of its Cam-Out Camber and added Power Pods. Perfect for powder, as seen in the shape, but has a very versatile flex for all mountain groomer days as well. It is a directional shape due to the obvious bigger nose than tail, but the stance is centered over the contact points so it feels like you are riding a twin board, this is great for groomers but still gives fantastic float on deep pow days. The Cam-Out Camber also gives that little extra extra lift when in powder but won't catch as hard when ripping groomers and still carves a dream due to camber under-foot, a fast Sintered Speed Formula HD base and grippy Power Pods. Drop what you are doing, escape to the mountains, and enjoy the feeling of riding with increased confidence with the Nitro Drop.

Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. They have a directional shape, a stiffer flex for stability, and usually camber or hybrid camber profiles for precision and control. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.

Flex: 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.

Ability Level: Intermediate

Sidecut: Dual Degressive Sidecut

A smaller radius sidecut in the centre along with two larger ones in the tip and tail make it feel loose, playful, and the most forgiving sidecut in the Nitro range.

Plus: Power Pods

Nitro overlays two separate sidecut radii, a tighter one in the centre plus a larger one in the tip and tail, creating extended board width under the bindings for additional edge control on hard and icy surfaces, along with enhancing response and control.

Inserts: 2x4 Inserts

These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
